My Bio
I was born and Raised in the O.C. Still live here with my family. My love for painting started when I was in kindergarten. I enjoyed finger painting, so Mom got an easel for me which I propped up next to the television and watched the old hippy guy Bob Ross of the public TV. series The Joy of Painting. There was something about his soft voice and slow pace that fascinated me. I was glued to the TV. for years. I took art classes threw out my school years and even in Adult hood. I find that art calms my soul, brings out my emotions and turns them into something positive on canvas or clay. When I am creating something I listen to classical music or books on audio (mostly murder mystery or Steven King). I have found that when my life is upside down, I am more inspired to paint. When things are right side up I find it hard to find inspiration, causing me to have dry spells. So during dry spells I tend to look at mastering other mediums and find new challenges.

Well I have been carefully not to knock over my Miss Honey Love Bowling Pen until it came time to take the photo of her done. She fell right after I finished and her hat cracked so now I have to fix it. While I am fixing her I might as well fix my cat from my version of Alice in wonderland. My mother accidently broke it too. Back to molding and painting.

I am currently working on a clay project. I found some old wooden Bowling Pens in my grandfather's wood shed and have been sanding them down. I have one already painted black. I made a clay face of Miss Honey Love to put onto the Pen along with a clay Santa hat. When I am done I will post a photo of it. So far everything is turning out great...So great in fact my mother is already laying claim to my Bowling Pens.... It's great that she is one of my Biggest fans, but if she continues to claim all my art work I will never be able to sell any of my stuff. Ugh!
